Theology of the New Testament Christian’s Church; The Kingdom’s Doctrine! The New Testament Church and The Kingdom of God’s expression through the church may be best declared as the place where God’s plan and purpose is in effect; it is undoubtedly the “The place where God is to rule and reign.” It is the place where God should be the source of all its’ activities and the source of knowledge, wisdom and directions. God has a full and perfect understanding of everything He creates and designs (Colossians 2:3). Not only has God known all of His works from the beginning of time (Acts 15:18), but He is also the one and only one who is able to declare the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:9-10). God ultimately determines the outcome of all things. There is a revealed truth that from the very beginning God has been building His’ Kingdom and program in the earth and preparing man to enter His Kingdom and to fulfill His purpose in time and eternity. The New Testament church was formed or created for the Kingdom of God fulfillment over the ages and the Church has been a building project of God through His Son Christ Jesus.
The Kingdom of God will accomplish its plan and purpose through the New Testament Church of this age. The Term “New Testament Church” is not the same as “The Kingdom of God” or “ The Kingdom of Heaven.” The New Testament Church is that body created by Christ to carry forth the last day mission of Christ and His Kingdom in the earth. The Kingdom of God through the New Testament Church is much greater than simply the physical Church we see today in the earth. The New Testament Church is a mystery of God and is involved in the eternal purpose of God in this present earth. The greater apostle Paul was given an understanding and a revelation of what God was moving toward in the church in bringing forth His’ will in the earth through the church. The Pauline Epistles teachings on God’s Kingdom through or in the Church are clearly made known and the clarity is that the Kingdom’s order, principles and design must be operational in the present church.
As we shall study in details in this book, we shall discover that the kingdom and the church are at the very center of God ultimate purpose and plan in the earth. In others words, we must consider that the eternal ages attest that GOD ETERNAL PURPOSE IN THE EARTH is preparations of His church and kingdom to be ONE. Many of us at this point will have to re-think and re-evaluate our views about dispensation truths and the questions of debate between the relationships of the Church to the Kingdom of God. We are in serious times, may I add the ‘end times’ and the return of Lord Jesus Christ is near. His Kingdom will soon be revealed and God’s government will be established in the earth. Many evangelical Christians are uninformed and without understanding of the biblical knowledge of these times and thus have often left it to other sects of religion to explain pure prophetic truth of the coming Kingdom of God; it’s government, pattern, order, purpose, plan and procedures. God’s kingdom in the earth and the present restored work of the Holy Spirit within the church is to bring the Kingdom of God to full glory within the Church. We are, in reality in “The Kingdom Hour.” |
