LEADERSHIP:
GOD'S PLAN
Do I need leadership to get to Heaven? The answer is yes. Leadership was ordained of God in the very creation of man. When God created man he gave him dominion over everything in the world. He gave man AUTHORITY over everything in the world. this was the first establishment of God's leadership on the earth. It's important to understand the value of spiritual leadership in your life, in your personal experience with the Lord. In walking in a relationship with God, it's important to understand that leadership is ordained of God. Throughout the history of the word of God, we understand that God has always used the leadership of a man of God, a prophet of God, a servant of God, to lead his people into a divine relationship.
When Jesus Christ came on the earth to establish the kingdom of God, He came under the authority of His Father. He always looked to His Father for leadership. As He was an example of what we should be like as Christians, as followers of God. We should look to the leadership of God. First understanding the Godhead and the Church head. The Bible said "Christ is the head of all things to the church." But he has appointed within the church a government. As we look at Ephesians Chapter 4, verses 8-14, God has given a five-fold ministry as government in his church, to lead his people. If you will notice, the five-fold ministry as government in His church, to lead his people. If you will notice, the five-fold ministry was set in the church in order to edify, exalt and build up God's people.
Salvation came through leadership. You cannot receive salvation except that you hear the gospel preached through the lips of a man. Romans, Chapter 10, verses 8-17; God has given us leader. That's what this conference is al about, learning how to submit to our leaders and to be subject to the vision that God has given them. God has promised that he would give us shepherds that would lead the flock into His Fullness. Jeremiah, Chapter 23, verses 3 and 4; Chapter 3, verse 15. God promised to give us pastors according to His heart, who would feed the people with knowledge and understanding.
As a Christian you must know them that labor among you. 1Thessalonians, Chapter 5, verses 12-15; God has commanded that we would submit Pastor and overseers in the church. It's important as we look at 1Timothy, 2Timothy and Titus; the letters that Apostle Paul wrote to the churches. He said to Timothy, He wanted him to set up Bishops over all churches and He gave qualifications for the Bishops. It was important that the people would have the covering of the leadership over their homes and families. It would come through the leadership of the church.
1. Submission to God - Deuteronomy, Chapter 6 verses 4-9.
2. Submission to the Church's Government. We begin with Church's government because we are first saved and born again into the Kingdom. St.John 3:5. Then we have become a new creation. 11 Cor.5:17. After being born into the Kingdom we learn how to walk and live in the Kingdom and in Kingdom's principles.
Jesus learned submission through obedience. Heb.5:8-9. The first step of unity is submitting one to another. Eph. 5:21. Many Christians are afraid of submitting. When we learn God's way of submission, we will be free.. God has placed the 5-fold Ministry in the church to lead, united, rule and protect His people.1 Thessalonians, Chapter 5, verses 12-13; 1Timothy, Chapter 5, verses 17-18; Hebrews, Chapter 13 verses 17; Ezekiel, Chapter 3, verses 17-21.
please refer to:

3. Submission to Government- 1Timothy, Chapter 2, verses 1-3; Titus, Chapter 2, verse 1; Romans, Chapter 13, verses 1-7; 1Peter, Chapter 2, verses 13-15.
4. Submission in the home- Ephesians, Chapter 5, verses 21-33; Ephesians, Chapter 6, verses 1-4; Colossians, Chapter 3, verses 18-21. Titus, Chapter 2, verses 1-15; 1Peter, chapter 3, verses 1-7.
5. Submission in the workplace- Ephesians, Chapter 6, verses 5-10; Colossians, Chapter 3, verses 22-25.
We must learn about the five-fold ministry of the church. Jesus Christ has placed this ministry as the head of his church. Many people have very little understanding of the five-fold ministry. That's the reason people find it hard to know who to submit to and why they should submit to the five-fold ministry. But Jesus has placed it in the church, according to Ephesians, Chapter 4, verses 7-14, to edify the church and to bring the church into the unity of the faith. In fact, so that there would be no division among us; that we may come into the unity of the faith and into the knowledge of the Son of God, and to the faith statue of Christ. To a perfect man, God's interest is that we become one. That's what the government of the church is about, instituting oneness.
