Timelines
This is an index page into a timeline for the present course.
I have chosen to concentrate on specific events and periods of church's history. Developments that cannot be tied to a specific periods or definite events, I have chosen to leave out.. This creates a rather concentrate view of study. This Timeline is not intended to be the complete History of the Church and certainly not the total view of the Church's Foundation. It is intended to give each students a reference for events, a skeleton on which they can hang the meatier parts of history about the church. They can learn more about the subject through other readings and through participation in discussion. Over time, I will add links to sermons, documents, essays, etc. that will expand on more individual entries we will make on this subject.
To other students, looking here for quick answers to hard assignments: keep looking. There's no substitute for plowing through the books, as many of our students will be happy to tell you.
