| The Triquetra, "Symbol of the
early church "SEAL OF CCOGIC, USA. Ephesians chapter four speaks of the church coming
into the unity of the Faith. The Triquetra is a symbol of unity. A design
consisting of three arcs: its' richness may be noted in that each half the length pair of
arcs form a vesics piscis (bladder of a fish). A fish in the early church was a symbol of soulwinning. God gave our founder, Bishop J. L.Payne this symbol representing the Christ Churches of God in Christ, USA body interwoven and interlaced structure with each arc interwoven into oneness. The followers of Jesus Christ interwined, thus forming one design which symbolizes the unity of the Eternal God as the Father is the Creator, Son and Holy Spirit. God the Father is the Creator, revealed by Jesus Christ, operated in humanity as the Holy Ghost.
